Gloria Jean’s Coffees reached Pakistani shores in 2007 when Gloria Jean’s Coffees (GJC), Pakistan opened its flag ship coffee house on Mehmud Ali Kasuri Road in Gulberg, Lahore. The amazing Coffee experience is now for Karachites too as Gloria jean’s Coffee is now open in Sindhi Muslim Karachi. The place offers more than 60 different varieties of single origin, blends, flavoured and decaffeinated whole bean coffees.

Posted on: Apr 08 By: Syeda Afrin Abbas The ambiance is not extra ordinary but good enough. Soda fans can get different flavors of soda, i tried lime which was not bad, can be tried. Chicken tikka salad was not too good and worth it or might be my love for Subway salad don't allow me to like another salad! ;) The smoked chicken sandwich was good and the fries were great too, worth it for the money. Now coffees...Im more a lover of cold coffees, i have tried coco loco and cookies n cream. Cookies n cream as better but don't expect it to taste like cookies it was more like a mocha but was good. Coco Loco was not impressive.

Posted on: Jul 15 By: Ameera Kiran Khan I recently visited Gloria Jeans at their fabulous Dolmen City Mall location and loved the experience. Before going there, I had been skeptical about the pricey-ness of the place from what I'd heard and read in reviews but I learned better after my visit. Honestly, good food, good quality that seeks to justify the price (compared to other so-called high end cafes), this was one place that delighted me. Also, I loved their upbeat and positive customer service. One of my friends asked the in-charge about her drink that had been mistakenly cleared away from the table and they offered to make her a new one on the house, right away. Loved the Mocha mousse cake as well as the light and fluffy New York Cheesecake. My Peach iced-tea was a delight too. Tried a bit of CocoLoco too and was impressed. I'd recommend paying them a visit, especially for lunch or tea, as I did, so you can get a gorgeous view of the sea if you're lucky to grab a seat by the large windows. :) P.s.: Props to Gloria Jeans for being very kid friendly and for providing books to read too. :)
Posted on: Jul 07 By: Saqib Khan sucks overall!! but people still go on crowding the damn place just because its a franchise of some known "foreign brand".... pity!!
Posted on: Jul 06 By: Saad Zaidi Expensive food, when asked for a Soup, got the same one as ready made branded soup makers which we all have our home. Salad was too much less, Burger was fine enough. Not a best place to try food but recommend for great coffees and deserts.
Posted on: Jul 05 By: Akid Ahmed Cold coffees sucks here.always go for latte their pasteries are amazing, dont know about the food service is kinda ok cuz u have to get ur ass up and go o the counter to receive your order
Posted on: Jun 02 By: Sonia Kanwal Not good food!!! bad experience with Tikka salad- it said mildly spicy but it was horribly red and spicy to the hilt. Would never recommend it for desi or combos of desi and non-desi food. Yes all non-desi stuff is good. Coffees to desserts to pancakes with malt syrup. It was surprisingly good. Didn't try the hot coffee. There is always a next time :) Pricing is a bit high- but then u get coffees at other outlets for the same costs- so either don't spend on any outlet or don't complain!!! :) And plz Gloria people- ADD A NON-SMOKING SECTION!!!!!! that is PROPERLY non-smoking not just separated by a wall with huge holes! Kindly please it will help the atmosphere!

Posted on: Apr 27 By: Tabinda Afzal I'd chosen Gloria Jeans for my term project. In two weeks, I went there 5 times, and had a different drink each time. I absolutely ADORE Cookies and Cream. Epic chiller! I interviewed Mr. Manoj Kanji (Restaurant Manager) and talked to Ms. Nazia Hasan who was great to talk to! I travel alot, and finding Gloria Jeans here in Karachi made me SO happy!!! For some people the prices might be high, but I thought it was okay, cuz the coffees they have are A-mazing! I've had breakfast at Gloria Jeans almost daily for a couple of months when I was in the USA, and their chiller, Cookies and Cream tastes just as great! the atmosphere is very good. Great experience!

Posted on: Mar 31 By: Omar Rai I like GJ's coffee and love their desserts and location. It's refreshing to find that a coffee house of some international open near the previous centre of our sprawling city, allowing people residing in North and Eastern parts of Karachi to reach there relatively easily. My taste buds found gladly that the Quality :-)of GJ's coffee was on par with what you find at any GJ's in Australia but sadly for my wallet:-( so was the price!. That said what I found puzzling , on my recent trip to Turkey and might have to do with GJ's franchise policy or why Ashray's Group it's franchise operator in Pakistan Is charging so much is that in Istanbul even accounting for currency exchange difference GJ's was twice as expensive and 30 percent dearer than Starbucks there.
Posted on: Mar 30 By: Natasha Khalid nice environment.love their cream brulee..
Posted on: Mar 26 By: Danyal Manzar Gloria Jean's Coffee offers Great coffee and good deserts a bit pricy but worth it.
Posted on: Mar 25 By: Waqas Ather Saeed The desserts are good, but the hot beverages disappointed me.
Posted on: Mar 19 By: Ayesha Shahid Sheikh I went their when it newly opened up and I agree with the others that it's too pricey. The coffee isn't even that great to cost that much. The service is slow and my mocha was pretty bitter. On the other hand I had croissant and a piece of Ny cheesecake and both of them were divine.
Posted on: Mar 16 By: Jibby Ks Gloria jeans is way to pricy .............place for those who love to show off their money.......
Posted on: Mar 15 By: Zarnish Zubair Ahmed Khan I love the place's decor! It's quite nice and alluring. Although I agree with Mr Ali S zia, it is quite over-priced. It's ok for 'once in a blue' thing but really can't go there on regular basis. But I totally loved their fruit smoothies and the chocolate walnut brownie cake was to die for!
Posted on: Mar 06 By: Ali S Zia Its an ideal place for "WANNABEES" - people who want to showoff the world by getting a coffee cup for Rs. 300 ($3.4). People in North America think twice spending $3.5 on a flavored Starbucks beverage. The price of coffee in a 20 oz cup is 1 cent, the cost of the glass container of is the actual price. I know this from my family who once tried getting a franchise of Dunkin Donuts in the US. Price of regular large coffee 20 oz at Tim Hortons is $1.92 Price of regular large coffee at Dunkin Donuts is $1.89 Prince of regular large coffee at Starbucks is $2.00 Why does GJ charge obnoxiously so high in a country like Pakistan??? My experience at GJ was bad - it took them 15 minutes to get me a regular coffee...If I have to drink a hot beverage I would rather sit on a charpayee at a local Dhabaa and drink tea for Rs. 20.

Posted on: Mar 05 By: Aurangzeb A. Durrani Went to Gloria Jean's on Saturday morning last week of January this year. Wanted to try the cold beverages but due to a weird dizzy head took a Cafe Latte. And honestly, it wasn't up to my expectation. My real target was a Chocoa Loco or any other cold beverage but was having a weird head so took Cafe Latte. Their beverages are told to be awesome normally but my Cafe Latte was just a bit too strong that even after 2 packs of sugar it was unsweetened to the extent of bitterness. Also it had an amount of residue at the bottom which made the last sips unbearable for me. The Classic Hot Choco was good, smooth and quality; a way much better drink than Milo. Another thing that I would like to mention here that Gloria Jeans is way too expensive. I know there was a different vibe and the atmosphere was great but honestly, Rs.300 for a coffee or choco is a bit too much. Plus, this has also restricted the costumers to higher class and occasionally middle ones. To be honest, later on I had a filling and quality meal for lunch of two, in lesser price than my two beverages at GJ. Next time, if I visit, I would go for Cold Beverages. They seems awesome and from Hot section I'll try any of Caramelatte or Very Vanilla Latte or Mocha. Please think about what I have said here. Hope to be satisfied completely the next time. =)
Posted on: Feb 21 By: Sarah Khan I wish Gloria Jean's Coffees could have opened in zamzama, I wonder why they choose to open in SMCHS.
