Arizona Grill Review By Natasha Khalid
It has been there over more than a decade and still when you go there without
reservation, you have to wait for more than thirty minutes at least. Despite
the rush of ever emerging new restaurants in a city like Karachi, this place
has maintained its mark ever since its advent.
Its popularity can be judged by the fact that it is always full,
let it be a week day or a weekend. Arizona grill, located on main Zamzama
boulevard phase 5, a place that can satisfy the taste buds of many.
From children to elders, the menu caters all. Its entrance
consists of a bar and a waiting area, from there is stairs leading towards the
sitting area in the basement. It can accommodate fifty people a time. Once
you’re seated, they serve in house fresh garlic bread and if it’s your birthday
then you also get cake slice with a candle on it, again in house. It consists
of dim multi colored lightening. Ambiance is relaxing but due to its ever
fullness, it’s always a little noisy.
Besides the free stuff we get complimentary, I would like to write about the
dishes that they keep me coming back here for more. The ever famous Hawaiian
steak, It is one perfect blend of pineapple and cheese on a steak, a taste that
very few can manage right, then the Arizona fire steak which is a spicy steak
with yet another scrumptious taste, all served with fried vegetables and French
fries/baked potato/mashed potato(with a choice of one amongst these).
Amongst the appetizers, mozzarella sticks here ooze out cheese at
every bite and are worth having! Then Fish Normande, is amongst their seafood
menu, a must try! Finely pan grilled fillet of fish covered with lemon mushroom
cream sauce. It’s like having the most different and best version of fish.
Rattlesnake paste is another hit on the list, something my friends love here,
its chicken breast sautéed in cream penny pasta which somehow tastes better
than pasta at any other place. Chicken lasangne is a perfectly layered
delicious combination served with a slice of garlic bread. Their Buffalo burger
is pretty gigantic in size for a burger and remarkable in taste.
Amongst the drinks, I like their cold coffee, iced tea and margarita! Ample
enough to swallow food down with a great taste.
Their servings are sufficient and for me, are huge because I always have some
left. Price range is adequate according to the quality and serving size. The
staff is the friendliest and helping kind. They make sure everyone is served at
the same time one table rather than two people getting their meal and the rest
staring at them hungrily! Something very few restaurants bear in mind.
I might sound like I am exaggerating, but this place is one of my favorites and
has never disappointed me!
Happy eating !
