Entertainment is the undeniable need of the human soul; whereas food takes away the biggest portion in pie share. Interestingly enough, a thriving multi billion rupee industry still faces a gap between itself and the consumers. The product, Food Connection Pakistan, is intrinsically designed not only to bridge the gap between the consumer and the restaurant industry, but to provide the Pakistani market a brilliant platform that allows them to make an educated decision when dining out / ordering in. With past experience of running a reputable institution in the hospitality sector in the UK, I learnt a lot about the industry and felt I can contribute a deal to the market back home. Being a patriot at heart, my ultimate goal is for the Pakistani Food Industry to get its due recognition in the world and I feel great pride in knowing that we are already on the roll.
It excites me just to think about the future prospects currently present in Pakistan for such platforms. Having worked on 100’s of technology projects in 4 different continents, I see enormous potential in Pakistan. In the age when digital media is gaining tremendous weight around the world, I believe it is just the right time to exploit the opportunity. FCPK is a product developed which surpasses the International standards. This product has been designed by myself and I am confident to put my signature on it.
What a novelty it is to work on a masterpiece! Food is an undeniable lifestyle that is the backbone of a multi billion rupee industry, yet amazingly enough consumers are oblivious of the big sea of choices out there. We are an entertainment starved country and the limited avenues for entertainment that we do have don’t get promoted aptly, hence there is a large void in the market. This product is designed and positioned for all SEC classes, covering all demographics who plugged into the digital world. We are not just a database of restaurants; we are the bridge that links restaurant to its consumer and a foodie to its world. It is our constant endeavor to keep up to the expectations of the market and to evolve ourselves as per the market needs.

Since the time I graduated from IVS my motto has remained the same as on my thesis “My learning starts from today.” Indeed, learning is imperative to maintain a look that is fresh and engaging for our users. A world class product is the Endeavour of a world class team, which requires a mature process and structured program of work. Equipped with my technical expertise I feel close to the development team and feel privileged to contribute to this start-up in more than one way.
When the idea was presented to us and we were given the opportunity to work on the project FCPK right from the scratch it was a dream come true! Surely, working in such an environment that not only utilizes you as a resource but cultivates a spark in you to deliver your best is a rare sight. Everyday there is something to learn and look forward to. Joining the team was the best decision made.
